ContrAl Results
At ContrAl Clinics we ask our clients to keep detailed logs of both
their naltrexone usage and their alcohol consumption. The results are stored
in an anonymous database among with the results of the extensive laboratory tests taken at the
beginning and at the end of the treatment. The database allows us to monitor the success of our
treatment programme and, if possible, improve it. Below are a couple of graphs
demonstrating the effectiveness of the programme.
This graph shows how alcohol consumption decreased after starting the ContrAl programme, in comparison to the average during the two weeks before treatment.
You can get a bigger version of the graph by clicking on it with your mouse.
Liver enzymes are common markers of excessive alcohol drinking. Decrease in
Gamma GT values usually indicates decrease in drinking.
